Troocoo Government are currently partnering with an established QLD State Government Department in the recruitment of an A05 and AO6 Executive Officer. These roles are initial 3 month contract engagements (with potential for permanency) based within Brisbane's CBD. These roles are paying attractive hourly rates of $62.67 - $71.67 per hour + 11% super.

The Role
As an A05/AO6 Executive Officer you will:

• Supervise coordinate and provide high quality confidential administrative and executive support to the Deputy and Assistant Commissioner
• Oversee and organise the Deputy and Assistant Commissioner's liaison with senior government and private sector executives and community representatives.
• Arranging diary appointments, meetings and conferences, prioritising correspondence, preventing unnecessary interruptions and screening telephone calls, and receiving visitors and delegations.
• Perform secretariat functions for meetings including preparing agendas, papers and minutes.
• Oversee, coordinate and prepare as necessary a range of written documentation including confidential correspondence, agendas, reports, briefing papers, publications and presentations.
• Oversee and coordinate the flow of correspondence throughout the branch, including distribution, receipting and tracking.
• Develop, implement, review and monitor processes, procedures and guidelines.
• Undertake short term research tasks, projects and assignments and monitor progress on various projects
• Facilitate the administrative operations of the office, including the coordination of travel arrangements
• Apply financial management principles including procurement guidelines and experience in using SAP, Microsoft Office applications and HPRM or similar electronic document management system.
