Eligibility: Open to EveryoneWe have an opportunity for an Executive Officer to be part of our Biosecurity Division within the Department of Primary Industries and Regions.The primary purpose of the role is to plan, coordinate and provide a high-quality executive support service for the Executive Director, Biosecurity. The role works closely with, and provides high quality communication coordination services for, the Executive Director, Biosecurity including managing the schedule, communication and quality assurance of executive correspondence, briefings, and reporting. The role also provides guidance, assistance, and advice to the Executive Assistant in the provision of executive support to the Biosecurity Senior Management Group (SMG).The role is also required to coordinate and deliver a range of confidential administrative functions and services for strategic and operational management meetings, provide high quality internal and external communications, including negotiating sensitive matters, and prepare, coordinate and track correspondence, Cabinet submissions, and Parliamentary and Ministerial briefings.The role contributes delivering the agency’s priorities including management of critical stakeholder relationships, the relationship between the Office of the Chief Executive and Minister’s Office.About UsSouth Australia is internationally recognised for the quality of its agriculture, food, and wine.
