The Executive Search and Talent Specialist will proactively identify and source candidates for executive and senior level roles across the organisation. This will include market mapping for critical roles within the executive and senior leader cohort across APAC, using several sourcing techniques to identify and qualify candidates and building and nurturing talent pools for critical roles.
To be successful in this role, you will be commercially astute and have strong experience in Executive Search and engaging at an executive level.
This is a fixed-term contract until January 2025, and you can be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane with hybrid work arrangements available. We are also open to this role being part-time (3-4 days per week).
How will I help?
Key accountabilities include:
- Working with leaders at the executive and senior level to identify candidates
- Building strong relationships with executive stakeholders, working as a business partner and trusted advisor on senior level talent identification.
- Identifying effective strategies to source candidates for these roles
- Using technical expertise to source passive candidates with a variety of techniques and tools, and mapping local markets to determine where the best talent is in the market
- Maintaining knowledge of internal talent pools and build relationships with key internal talent.
- Identifying suitable potential candidates from other areas of Bupa to meet business needs and to promote internal mobility and people development.
- Developing and maintaining an internal and external pipeline of candidates for key roles and capabilities.

What do I need?
To be successful in this role you will have a proven track record in Executive Search and Talent engagement gained from a combination of inhouse executive recruitment and Executive Search firm experience. You will have extensive experience in talent mapping, head hunting, search analytics and industry related research, leading full end-to-end Executive Search processes.
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, collaborating well within a small independent team. Your knowledge of leadership assessments, psychometrics and Talent development as well as exposure to OD portfolios will be extremely beneficial. You have high levels of integrity and professionalism, able to maintain very tight levels of confidentiality.
Your ability to build relationships, and your high level of credibility has enabled you to become a trusted advisor at a senior level. This will be essential to your success in this role. You’re able when necessary to work autonomously and independently, running a robust talent attraction process with a can-do, flexible attitude, happy to dive in and make things happen.
