What You Will Be Doing
The Exercise Physiologist in the Early Intervention in Chronic Disease team works in a multidisciplinary, supportive and collaborative environment. We work in a holistic manner to help clients achieve their goals, work to their strengths and improve their health outcomes. Exercise and education of clients will empower and equip them to better manage their conditions. You will be working with clients 1:1 or in a group setting.
Position Description
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
• Registration with ESSA
• Valid Driver's license
• Capacity to supervise students, allied health assistants and volunteers
• Demonstrated ability to prescribe safe, effective and appropriate exercise for a broad range of chronic conditions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience facilitating chronic disease groups e.g. cardiac/cancer rehabilitation

*Please refer to salary circular ALLIED HEALTH PROFESSIONALS (VICTORIAN PUBLIC SECTOR) (SINGLE INTEREST EMPLOYERS) ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2021 - 2026 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
