Job Description: I am seeking a passionate and qualified Exercise Physiologist to join the team and play a key role in delivering high-quality services to our clients. The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to assess, prescribe, and supervise exercise interventions for clients with various health conditions and fitness goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' health status, fitness levels, and exercise goals.
- Develop individualized exercise programs based on assessment findings, incorporating principles of exercise physiology and evidence-based practice.
- Provide ongoing supervision and guidance to clients during exercise sessions, ensuring safety and effectiveness.
- Monitor clients' progress, make adjustments to programs as needed, and provide motivation and support to help them achieve their goals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the clinic to ensure holistic and integrated care for clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including assessment data, progress notes, and communication with other team members.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Exercise Physiology or a related field.
- Accreditation with Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP).
- Experience working as an Exercise Physiologist, preferably in a clinical or rehabilitation setting.
- Strong knowledge of exercise physiology principles, human anatomy, and exercise prescription guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- A genuine passion for helping others improve their health and well-being through exercise.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- This is a full-time position based in Melbourne - Karingal and Narre Warren, with flexibility in work hours and potential for growth within the clinic.
- Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
