Exercise Physiologist - Clinic Neuro And Msk

Our Client: Our client is a unique private practice in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne that deliver a specialist physiotherapy and exercise physiology service to Neuro and MSK clients. Their passionate team of professionals is highly trained and skilled in using advanced neuro technology to deliver functional and goal based therapy. 

About the Role: 
We are seeking an experienced Exercise Physiologist to take on a private practice role in Eastern Melbourne.

In this role, you will be taking on a predominately neuro caseload within a clinic setting. Some of your duties will be but are not limited to the following:

• Provide clinical care to NDIS, Home Care Packages, Private health/individually funded, and Chronic Disease Management Programs
• Perform Neuro and MSK clinical assessments and evidence based treatment plans
• Support clients to trial a customised wheelchair, assistive technology, and/or making the appropriate referrals
• Work within a multidisciplinary team
• Participate in home visits as needed 
• Provide mentoring and supervision to junior therapists 

This is a full time position, part time will also be considered.

About You:

• Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology
• Accredited membership with ESSA
• Experience in private practice 
• Previous neuro experience (desirable)
• Passionate about health and well-being and making a real difference in the community as well as building long-lasting partnerships with clients
• Strong work ethic and commitment to clinical excellence
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
• Tech savvy, strong organisational and time management skills
• A team player attitude 
• National NDIS Worker Screening check/ current police record check within 1 year
• Eligible to work permanently in Australia
• Have your own car and willing to use for work purposes
