We believe it’s never too late to take control of your health and aim to provide the support and tailored-care required to help our clients throughout their exercise journey.
An exciting opportunity exists for a driven, motivated Exercise Physiologist to assist established and new clients with their health and well-being goals and exercise programs.
Our network is built from referrals through our sister clinics Bluff Road Medical in Sandringham and Bayside Family Medical in Cheltenham.
Your Role
- Conduct health assessments, and deliver evidence-based clinical exercise interventions
- Provide individual and group sessions, health and wellbeing seminars, and individualised exercise programs
- Build new clients into the business
- Develop relationships with our sister clinic GP’s and other allied health professionals.
- Support clients with a range of clinical presentations and psychosocial barriers
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to improve client outcomes
- Timely and accurate reporting
In addition to expressing a passion for health and exercise, the successful applicant will need to demonstrate the following.
Essential:
- Bachelor/post degree in Exercise Physiology
- Current ESSA registration
- Experience in a clinical environment
- Demonstrate aptitude for training
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrate ability to build rapport
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Current and maintained first aid and CPR certificate and current police check.
- Medicare Provider number
Desirable:
- Prior experience or exposure in a gym-based environment or personal training certificate.
- 5 year's experience working as an EP
