About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated individual who is enthusiastic about delivering exceptional patient care within a growing niche market. Cancer Fit Australia specializes in cancer rehabilitation, employing a holistic and hybrid approach. Working here allows you to apply your extensive Strength and Conditioning (S&C) knowledge.
At Cancer Fit Australia, we operate as a medically supervised facility, providing you with the opportunity to collaborate closely with medical specialists on a weekly basis. We conduct regular Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings involving medical oncologists, rehabilitation specialists, and physiotherapists to address complex cases.
Key Accountabilities:
- Provide clinical exercise intervention to our clients.
- Prescribe clinical exercise programs for individuals with chronic and complex medical conditions and injuries.
- Ensure precise and timely completion of all client-related administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with the team and undertake other relevant work as directed.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning in related fields.
- Work harmoniously with colleagues to achieve team objectives.
- Take responsibility for gym floor duties, including onboarding new members.
- Lead small group training sessions with personalized exercise programs for each patient.
