Address Role Description
This is a full-time onsite role for an Exercise Physiologist at Northwest Health & Performance located in Tamworth, NSW. The Exercise Physiologist will be responsible for creating and implementing safe and effective exercise programs for clients with various health conditions, and conducting fitness assessments and consultations. They will also communicate effectively with clients and other healthcare professionals, keep accurate records, and stay up-to-date with industry certifications and continuing education.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, or a related field
Certification from Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) or another recognized accrediting body
Experience in exercise prescription for clients with various health conditions including cardiovascular, metabolic, and musculoskeletal disorders
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and other healthcare professionals
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to stay up-to-date with industry standards, trends, and continuing education requirements
Current First Aid and CPR certification
