Our Journey:
The Aged and Community Care (ACC) Program provides an interdisciplinary service to support people over the age of 65 in the community. The program aims to keep the client independent within their community, proactively promoting health and independence, and self-management whilst assisting with timely interventions to prevent deterioration of the condition, and admission to hospital or residential care. We offer a client-centred, goal directed approach to a growing and diverse population.
We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic Exercise Physiologist to take up an ongoing part-time position working Monday to Friday.
A Day in the Life:
This is a unique opportunity to join our large, friendly community-based team. You will be working across a variety of specialisms and client conditions including (but not limited to): Orthopedic, Neurological, Pain management and Cardiorespiratory. You will deliver individual and group exercise physiology services within a community centre, clients' home environment and community settings. Working with a diverse range of clients offers great variety- no two days will be the same!
This role comes with opportunities to learn, grow and expand your knowledge within an experienced, supportive team. You will also have access to in-house professional development, and 1:1 support from a Grade 3 Exercise Physiologist.

You are truly passionate about delivering a high standard of evidence-based care to clients
You are an experienced Grade 2 who is looking at a new opportunity or an experienced Grade 1 ready to take the next step in your career
You are enthusiastic, compassionate, proactive and team player attitude
You are excited to be involved in quality improvement projects in our relentless pursuit of excellence
What you need:
Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science or equivalent as per Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) approved courses
Meets eligibility criteria to be an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP)
Current drivers' license
Current accreditation as an AEP
