Position: Exercise Physiologist
Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' fitness levels, medical history, and goals.
• Develop individualised exercise programs tailored to clients' needs, taking into consideration any medical conditions or limitations.
• Implement safe and effective exercise protocols that align with industry standards and best practices.
• Guide and instruct clients on proper exercise techniques to prevent injuries and maximize results.
• Monitor clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their fitness programs.
• Collaborate with other health professionals within the team to create integrated wellness plans.
• Stay current with the latest research and trends in exercise physiology.
• Maintain accurate and organised client records and documentation.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Exercise Physiology.
• Certification from a recognized professional organisation (ESSA).
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and exercise prescription.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathetic and client-centered approach to coaching and motivation.
• Ability to adapt and customise exercise programs for diverse populations.
• Familiarity with medical conditions and their implications on exercise.
• A genuine passion for health promotion and helping clients reach their goals.
