The Opportunity

We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior E&I Technician to join us in our Operations and Maintenance team in Wallumbilla QLD Australia on a Permanent Fulltime basis, on a 15:13 roster.

You will be a part of a diverse team that works across 4 compressor stations including 750 km of pipeline.

Reporting to the Team Leader you will play a key role in   The safe  operations and maintenance of the SWQP pipeline which includes Wallumbilla Compressor Station and compressor stations along the pipeline.

Key Responsibilities (6 BULLET POINTS MAX)

  • Completion of routine maintenance on compressors and associated electrical, instrumentation and metering equipment.    
  • Complete corrective maintenance on associated equipment as required >
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and instrument equipment on site.
  • Complete work to a safe and high standard

Your background (5 BULLET POINTS MAX)

  • Strong Instrumentation and electrical qualifications
  • Worked in a gas compressor station.
  • Strong knowledge of gas turbines and compressors
  • Metering and gas quality calibration experience
  • Previous work in compressor stations or high-pressure gas lines
  • Hazardous Area and electrical experience  

About the Team

The SWQP team is based at Wallumbilla Compressor station west to Ballera. You will be a part of a team which assist with the operation    and maintenance of gas Compressor Stations throughout South West Queensland Pipelines.
