About the Role
The Therapeutic Capability Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring a consistent therapeutic practice and workplace-based training to ensure required operational capability across our services. This will be a pivotal role in building the education, skills, knowledge, and competencies of the Operations workforce whilst overseeing the Therapeutic Practice teams.
The purpose of the role is to build a highly skilled wider team, through the embedding of trauma-informed therapeutic practice and its application of responding to pain-based behaviours exhibited by children and young people who have experience abuse and neglect, ongoing reflective practice, learning and development interventions and strategies that holistically embed therapeutic practices across all services in Operations.
To perform within our roles, Safe Places People and Capability Framework describes the necessary capabilities. We have three main groupings of capability: strategy, leadership, and service delivery. We believe mastering the routine and day to day of service delivery is incredibly important but recognise your value as extending beyond these key accountabilities.
