Form of workWe have an exciting opportunity for a friendly and talented Exercise Physiologist/Exercise Scientist to join our team at Brecken Health Bunbury in a full-time or part-time role.
About the Role:
Your day to day work will be a mix of functional capacity assessments and step testing for our corporate clients as part of pre-employment medicals and Enhanced Primary care appointments with patients on a care plan.
This role will require you to work closely with a large multidisciplinary team; Brecken Health provides a diverse range of medical services under general, allied and corporate health including physiotherapy, podiatry and exercise physiology. This position would be suited to someone with an interest in occupational health.

Essential:
- Relevant degree or qualification in Exercise Physiology/Exercise Science
- Member of ESSA
- Highly developed assessment and intervention skills
- This is a patient focused role, so strong interpersonal communication skills are essential
- We utilise a range of clinical and scheduling software which requires strong computer skills
- Certifications; Police check conducted within the previous 12 months, current CPR certification

- National Accreditation Drug & Alcohol Collection
- Experience with Audiometry/Spirometry and conducting Pre-Employment Medical Assessments
- Experience with Musculoskeletal & Functional Assessments
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary setting alongside GPs/allied health
