We are seeking experienced Exercise Physiologists and Allied Health Assistants to join our team. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in providing tailored interventions and support to clients, promoting physical activity, rehabilitation, and overall health improvement. This position offers a unique hybrid working model, allowing flexibility in delivering services across different settings.
About You
Exercise Physiologist:
- An accredited Exercise Physiology degree and relevant registration with ESSA (Exercise & Sports Science Australia).
- Minimum 1 year experience working in a Clinical or Workplace Rehabilitation space.
- Knowledge and experience in musculoskeletal injuries, exercise prescription, developing rehabilitation/exercise programs, and liaising with stakeholders in client care e.g., EPC, NDIS, and workers' compensation.
- Experience working within an Aged Care setting is desirable but not mandatory.
- Good relationship-building capacity and a friendly approach to patients and the work team.
- Time management skills with the ability to manage a diverse case mix.
- Medicare Provider Number and Professional Indemnity Insurance.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Own laptop
- Rights to work in Australia.
- Must have a current Working with Children Check and national police check.
- Updated vaccination status, particularly for influenza, hepatitis B, and COVID-19.
- Familiarity with data security and privacy laws relevant to patient information.
Allied Health Assistant:
- Relevant qualifications and experience in Allied Health Assistance.
- Good relationship-building capacity and a friendly approach to patients and the work team.
- Time management skills with the ability to manage a diverse case mix.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Rights to work in Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting assessments, developing individualised treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions.
- Delivering exercise programs, monitoring progress, and adjusting interventions as necessary.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimise client outcomes.
- Providing guidance and support to clients and their families.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and records in accordance with regulatory standards and professional guidelines.
