Located centrally in Cairns City on Sheridan Street the new restaurant and lobby cocktail bar is part of our full hotel renovation. The kitchen, bar and dining areas are NEW! So our incoming chef team will be the first to use it and make it their own. The dining experience has inspiration from the Mediterranean with outdoor dining by the pool or indoor dining with cool vibes.
With an intimate 80 seats inside and another 50 seats by the pool under the custom pergola’s, floating ceilings and amazing cocktail bar area, this restaurant is set to become Cairns newest hidden dining and drinking highlight.
We are looking for a Chef or experienced Cook to join our dynamic team.
This is a casual position up to 25 hours per week.
About the Role:
With sustainability and quality of produce in mind, complete with the freshest ingredients from local suppliers and markets, our chef team will work together to deliver a beautiful breakfast including buffet to our inhouse guests.
What we need:
- Reliable, level headed, punctual and organised.
- Passionate about what you do, innovative and experienced.
- Work fast, clean, and able to motivate each other through leading by example.
- Deliver great food consistently.
- Must hold Either Food Safety and Food Handling certificates.
- A great fun attitude is a must.
- Experienced people only or ready to step up
- Locally based in Cairns community
