At Infin8 care, the role of a Breakfast Cook plays a key role in meeting our residents’ daily needs and leading our catering team.
The days & hours are Saturday, Sunday & Monday 6am until 2pm.
Working closely with the Chef / Head Chef, you will work with limited supervision and be responsible for the preparation and service of the days first meal at our Caravonica Waters facility. Caravonica Waters Aged Care - Nursing Home | Infinite Care (infin8care.com.au)
In addition to this, you will also provide baking support for morning and afternoon tea as well as commence preparation for the lunch service. Typically you will work 5 morning (6am - 2pm) shifts including Saturday and Sunday (penalty rates apply).
About You
You are and experienced Head Chef who understands the importance of being visible. You take the time to communicate, build rapport and maintain professional relationships with residents. In addition to this you
- Have a Certificate II in food preparation OR demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Are comfortable working in a fast paced busy kitchen.
- Have excellent time management, organisational and leadership skills.
- Are a strong communicator who is committed to high standards of customer service.
- Have NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or the ability to get it).
- Are fully COVID-19 Vaccinated.
