What does the job look like?
We are currently seeking an experienced Leading Hand Welder to join the fabrication and repairs team based in Footscray. This is an exciting permanent full time opportunity working Monday to Friday during the afternoon shift. There is also potential for overtime depending on volumes.
- Participating in and always committing to Safety Standards and COR requirements.
- Undertaking container repairs and structural repairs
- Carrying out other welding tasks as required
- Reporting damage and safety issues
- Ensuring the presentation of the Linfox equipment is maintained at a high standard
- Ensuring that all tasks are completed within time frames
Are you the one?
- Trade qualification and experience as a Welder is required
- Experience as a Leading Hand or supervisory position is highly regarded
- Forklift licence is desirable but not essential
- Organisational skills & high attention to detail.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and National Police clearance
