EXPERIENCED CHEF
About the role: As a Chef you will report to the General Manger and you will be responsible for meals for accommodation guests as required. In addition to an annual salary, accommodation is inlcuded for this central western Queensland position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and oversee kitchen staff.
- Carry out duties in a planned way, follow work schedules and organise materials and equipment for daily operations.
- Menu planning, overseeing food preparation and cooking of various cuisines for evening meals and breakfast.
- Ensure all allergies/dietary requirements are catered for.
- Oversee and maintain a clean, hygenic kitchen, utensils, dining room, cool room, storeroom and storage areas.
- Prepare stores orders and maintain adequate supplies based on expected guests.
- Regular inventory/stocktake.
- Comply with all requirements of the Work Health and Safety legislation.
- Support a positive health and safety culture.
- Certificate 4 in Kitchen Management - Australian Qualification Network
- At least 2 years experience
