Experienced Civil Site Supervisor

Great opportunity to get onboard with one of Melbourne's most prominent civil construction groups.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Supervisor to join a highly reputable organisation who services segments across civil & construction and bulk earth works. The growth of the business is exponential with lots of exciting projects coming up. You will be managing a team onsite and be responsible for ensuring that the construction is managed according to strict operating standards.

About the role

Reporting directly to the Area Manager, you will have autonomy in this role and be provided with a supportive team environment with training & development opportunities. Your success in this role will be determined by your ability to deliver a high quality, on budget and safe project.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall planning and allocation of plant, materials and human resources in order to meet key project timelines.
• Overseeing the day-to-day supervision of the site
• Adhering to the high standard safety policies set out by the client and ensuring all workers follow these procedures
• Assist and conduct site audits, safety inspections and ensuring project documentation is up to date and maintained
• Good decision making in response to high pressure situations and more!

Skills & experience

• 3 + years in a leadership foreman or Site Supervisor role
• Ability to work with leadership & senior management as well as liaise with external contractors & suppliers
• Ability to read and follow plans according to industry standards
• High level of communication skills to ensure works are completed the right way, the first time and every time
• High level of detail to Health and Safety procedures

Key requirements needed to apply

• White Card 
• Full Australian work Rights
• Must be able to work well within a team environment.
• 3 years experience in a supervisory role within civil construction 
• Additional tickets within the civil industry advantageous
• Full PPE
• A car is highly desirable but not essential
