This big, busy leadership role can bring immense satisfaction to a resilient, compassionate clinical leader determined to open opportunities for real change in people’s lives.
For more than four decades, this non-profit healthcare provider has provided services to support vulnerable people overcome the impacts of many situations met in life - such as substance use and dependency, mental health and gambling concerns. As a values-based organisation, they are committed to providing the highest standards of service delivery.
Acknowledging that life is complex, dedicated professionals aim to bring an empathetic and judgement-free approach to each client’s unique position. Multidisciplinary teams work kindly and alongside each individual to formulate tailored plans to reduce harm, nurture recovery and inspire positive and lasting change.
This service model includes pre and post support for those people involved in ‘live-in’ programs in either of two securely-funded facilities.
There is extraordinary demand for these residential rehabilitation services, with people coming from far and wide across rural New South Wales, so growth and expansion is part of future planning.
The Clinical Manager we are looking for will be committed to better ways of doing almost everything; better answers, better outcomes for clients and to creating a better, more culturally melded workforce who really do ‘pull together’ for the common good.
To be considered, you need qualifications as a Psychologist, Social Worker, AOD Nurse or comparable (allied) medical professional. You will also have recorded substantial experience as a leader managing the delivery of clinical services to vulnerable people in trauma-informed and recovery-orientated situations… and in managing the teams that drive them.
It’s important you understand community AOD services or residential services settings and facilities management, are commercially and financially astute and have a fair appreciation of how life and healthcare happen in Australian regional towns.
