About the Role:
KKCS are seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Services Manager to lead their clinical team and ensure the delivery of high-quality, client-centred care. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the smooth operation of their Clinical Services, supporting community aged care clients and driving continuous improvement in the service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Service Delivery:
- Oversee the delivery of comprehensive, client-centred Clinical Services.
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, legislation, regulations and funding guidelines.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and staff development.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and development for staff.
- Clinical Governance:
- Understand and manage aged care funding models (HCP, CHSP) and upcoming Support at Home changes.
- Lead continuous improvement of clinical policies and procedures.
- Manage clinical risk and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Conduct audits and reviews to ensure adherence to clinical standards.
- Leadership and Management:
- Provide compassionate leadership to your clinical team.
- Motivate and inspire your team to deliver exceptional client care.
- Represent the clinical team in organisational meetings and committees.
- Qualifications & Experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in a clinical discipline (e.g. Nursing, Social Work, Occupational Therapy).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a clinical leadership role within the health or community services sector.
- APRHA registered RN with at least 3 years in the aged care sector and 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong commitment to client-centred care and a holistic approach to well-being.
- Skills & Attributes:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in relevant computer software programs (e.g., Alayacare, SharePoint).
- Collaborative, supportive, and innovative approach to leadership.
- Desirable:
- Master’s degree in a relevant clinical field.
- Experience with clinical service development and implementation.
