Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated professional with a passion for patient care, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards for our dental practice.
🌟 What You'll Do:
- Provide chair-side assistance to dentists during a variety of dental procedures.
- Provide guidance and support as needed to junior nurses.
- Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the dental clinic, including managing patient flow and scheduling.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks as required.
- Sterilise and prepare dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
- Assist with the implementation of clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with other members of the dental team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Set up and assist with sterile surgical procedures (under General Anaesthetic onsite)
🌟 What You'll Need:
- Min 2yrs experience in a Dental Assisting Role
- Surgical Implant (especially Allon4) Experience Highly Regarded
- Experience with D4W well regarded.
- Cert III or similar desirable but not essential

Hours of work are typically between 745am-545pm, there are some needs for early/later shifts on our operating days.
