We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused experienced Casual Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team at our busy doctor-owned General Practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
- Manage incoming calls and schedule appointments using our practice management software. (Best Practice Experience Essential)
- Process patient billing and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Assist with general administrative duties, including filing, scanning, and photocopying.
- Maintain a clean and organised reception area, ensuring the availability of appropriate resources and materials.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards, including privacy and confidentiality.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors, responding to their enquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
- 20-30hrs per week working between hours of clinic requirements (7.45am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday)
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-year experience in a medical receptionist role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service focus.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with practice management software (Best Practice Software preferred, however other PMS experience will be considered).
- Good organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
- A friendly and professional attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures.
