Capri Medical Centre is a busy Private BillingGeneral Practice located on the gorgeous Isle of Capri, Gold Coast.
We are a family friendly team looking for an experienced Nurse with personality and flexibility to assist in the running of our treatment room (with immediate start).
We offer General Practice services as well as scuba medicals, blepharoplasty, minor procedures, cosmetic services, infusions, immunisations and chronic disease management.
We are currently looking for a RN on a casual basis (2-3 days per week)
About the practice:
- Open 5 days
- MD and PS software
- Experienced team of Doctors, CDM Nurse and administration staff.

The Role
- Assist with patient triage and undertake preliminary diagnostic and first response care
- Clinical duties including assisting with procedures, immunisations, wound management, ECG’s, Spiro and iron infusions
- Some chronic disease management including the development of Care Plans, Health Assessments and Comprehensive Medical Assessments
- Preventative health activities and recalls and reminders
- Treatment room management - maintenance of clinical equipment, vaccine management, accreditation, stock control and ordering
- No weekend work
You will need
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to provide quality patient care to patients from a range of backgrounds and age demographics
- Proven ability to be a positive, independent and collegial member of the team
- Recent experience working within a General Practice setting
- Experience doing Health Assessments and Medicals is desirable but not essential
- Ability to manage and prioritise workloads
- Current AHPRA Registration
