Qube Forestry is a leading presence in 14 ports throughout New Zealand, as well as locations in Australia, including Tasmania. Qube has over 1,000 experienced employees operating across its various sites and handles in excess of 12 million tonnes of cargo annually. Services provided to the forestry sector include marshalling services, stevedoring, haulage, infield chipping and harvesting and other services. Qube's marshalling services are supported by our industry leading scaling and inventory management software, LMS.THE ROLEThe position involves operating a Petersen Chipper, Feller Buncher or Skidder for in-field operations in small teams that at times can be in locations within the South-east of South Australia and Western Victoria.We currently operate machinery that includes John Deere, Caterpillar, Tigercat and Peterson. General maintenance onsite at our operations will be required.The work is infield and can be challenging and work hours can be demanding, so a generous above award hourly rate of pay is being offered, as well as opportunity for advancement within the company.Applicants are invited who reside locally or within Western Vic or South-east of South Australia.Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant license
- Previous experience in a similar role
