Mortgage Choice Oakleigh (run by Victoria's Broker of the Year 2021) is looking for an experienced Mortgage Broker to join our small, award-winning team.

This excellent role and reward package has potential for significant growth, as our Head Broker starts to move “off the tools”.  He'll focus on business development, broker mentoring and maintaining our client service excellence.  Our Brokers will focus on delivering great mortgage solutions for our many clients.

Your role is to turn new prospects into clients for life, by delivering excellent service and great client education, as you write residential loans. You’ll also build relationships with our large number of existing clients, assisting them with new lending opportunities. You’ll be supported by a high-performing support team, giving you more time to focus on your clients.

• Quickly establish a connection with potential and existing clients, conducting most meetings by Zoom. 
• Understand, analyse and research your client’s financial position, circumstances and borrowing requirements.  
• Propose a best-fit residential mortgage lending structure, lender and product.
• Oversee preparation and submission of the mortgage application with our Lending Support team, who prepare much of the paperwork (valuations, evidence collection, Apply Online) for you.
• Deliver an exceptional client experience, including through regular updates. 
• Ensure compliance with all banking and financial legislation and codes of conduct.
• Work collaboratively in our team, sharing information, ideas and learnings.

• Experienced, ethical, professional, compliant to standards.

• 3+ years experience as a residential Mortgage Broker.
• Diploma in Mortgage Broking.
• MFAA or FBAA accredited.
• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
