Chef/Cook Position:
We're seeking a talented Chef/Cook to join our team and bring their expertise to our menu. If you're passionate about creating culinary masterpieces and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!
Working closely with the Cafe Managers, your primary responsibilities include:
- Assist in the creation of fresh new weekly specials.
- Manage food costs.
- Maintain stock levels, ensure stock rotation, and stock quality.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness to a high standard.
- Ensuring food safety and compliance.

- The Role:
With a unique opportunity to share your creativity, this role will see you working as a team running the kitchen operations, corporate catering events, menu planning & weekly specials while working closely with management to build on what is considered a ‘foodie fan favourite’.

With our client base steadily growing, you will be working in a fast paced environment and need to have excellent communication skills, be well presented & clean at all times, be approachable, be willing to work hard, be a team player and serious about your role in the business.
You will be responsible for keeping a high standard of cleanliness of the kitchen and not be afraid to do dishes or scrub floors - we are a family run business so team work is our biggest motto.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a passion for food and show creativity.
- Stay calm under pressure
- Be well presented and ambitious
- Be efficient and consistent
- Demonstrate confidence in planning and executing an evolving menu
- Hold a current Food Safety Supervisors certificate.
- Hold a certificate III or IV in commercial cookery
- Excellent staff and time management skills
- Be friendly and have a positive attitude
