We are seeking motivated Experienced Station Hands skilled in handling cattle, horses, and motorbikes, capable of working effectively in a team.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out cattle husbandry tasks: mustering, drafting, processing, weaning, and trucking.
- Manage basic livestock health procedures and ensure compliance with welfare standards.
- Handle, ride, shoe, feed, and care for horses.
- Maintain and record equipment and saddlery usage.
- Conduct routine machinery checks and handle general vehicle maintenance.
- Operate two-wheeler motorbikes/UTVs and perform station repairs.
- Manage and report on livestock identification and paddock variations.
- Distribute supplements and undertake occasional domestic duties as needed.
- Proven cattle handling abilities.
- Current Driver’s Licence (Heavy Vehicle Licence preferred).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Capable of working independently with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with safe work practices and health and safety policies.
