The Position
Report to the Export Manager:
- Prepare and submit Export Documentation – Health, Certificates, submit EDNs, PRAs
- Book freight with shipping lines - close relationships
- Liaise with suppliers and logistics providers regarding Export Documentation
- Prepare and submit Export Documentation – Health, Certificates, submit EDNs, PRAs
- Co-ordinate shipments within required deadlines
- Update spreadsheets
- Providing quality customer service to customers and suppliers
- Learn on the job
This role is best suited to an Export Coordinator who has worked in an export logistics role with an exporter, freight forwarder or shipping company or someone with a little experience and is willing to learn:
- Knowledge of shipping terms and documents beneficial
- Ability to build a strong and professional relationship with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent English – both verbal and written
- Content working with a combination of soft and hard copies of paperwork
- Outstanding attention to detail and a talented multitasker
- MS Office knowledge – Excel, Outlook and Word
