COSCO SHIPPING Lines (Oceania) Pty Ltd is currently seeking an experienced and team focused person to join our Customer Service team, based in our Sydney head office.
Position Objective and broad function:
- Assist Customer Service department to achieve the objectives below.
- Responsible for customer-based activities on a national basis. Scope includes but not limited to existing Customers.
- Provide a service to all customers from the time of initial contact through the booking process until shipped on board and beyond.
- Utilize company systems and resources to provide this high level of service and work closely with other departments to achieve the most suitable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain close contact with the customers, other departments and associated headquarters personnel.
- Generating invoice/s once bill ready.
- Prepare shipping certificates as requested by the customer in accordance with company policy.
- After vessel sails, issue the Bills once payment is received.
- Create port manifest before EOV and confirm to IT department who will forward to local Port Authority.
- Refer to freight amendment procedure for freight amendment after EOV.
- Follow up the refund procedure if required.
- Be aware of and follow the procedures set for the department.
- All enquires are to be actioned in a timely manner.
- Assist deputy manager to complete monthly review with GSC.
- Any other duties as required by Senior Management.
