About your new role
Working as part of the City's Transformation, as a Business Analyst you will define organisational problems, investigate and gather information, and deliver recommendations for the successful delivery of organisational change through data led initiatives.
You will gather, elicit and lead refinement for business processes/ systems, working collaboratively with team members on the design of solutions. You'll be a liaison between organisational teams, ensuring business outcomes are clearly understood by the functional owners, key stakeholders and the Project. We're looking for people who have:
Business Process Model and Notation 2.0 (BPMN 2.0) accredited or similar
2 years' experience in a Business Analyst role or equivalent position
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
You can bring new ideas and respectfully challenge the status quo to bring about continuous improvements
Communicates with influence and effectively engages with suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver constructive outcomes and resolve issues
You are able to use foundational BA techniques to elicit and document business and technical requirements, engage with stakeholders to analyse and identify process improvement and use structured methodologies to make meaningful recommendations
Have experience in modern ways of working, for example applying Agile practices
You are able to work well within a high performing team environment
