At KBR, we value teamwork, integrity, and excellence, and we offer a stimulating work environment where your talents and aspirations can thrive.Position Overview:We are currently undertaking Expression of Interest applications for Lead Electrical I&C Engineers with expertise in instrumentation and controls who are interested in future opportunities located in Brisbane and Melbourne. The Lead Electrical Engineer will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for our green hydrogen, ammonia, decarbonization, and LNG projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work on groundbreaking projects that are shaping the future of energy.Key Responsibilities:Lead electrical design and engineering activities for instrumentation and control systems in green hydrogen/ammonia/decarbonisation, and LNG projects.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop integrated solutions that meet project requirements and objectives.Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost estimates for electrical systems.Design and optimize electrical layouts, schematics, and control diagrams.Specify, select, and procure electrical components and equipment.Develop and implement testing procedures to ensure the reliability and performance of electrical systems.Skills and Experience Required:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field;Extensive experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on instrumentation and controls.Proven track record of successful involvement in green hydrogen, ammonia, decarbonization, or LNG projects.Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, codes, and Australian standards.Proficiency in AutoCAD, or similar electrical design software.Experience with PLC programming, SCADA systems, and industrial communication protocols.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and disciplines.Join Our Team:Embark on a rewarding career journey as part of KBR’s Energy Solutions Australia team where your expertise and passion for excellence will be valued and celebrated.
