Are you an experienced Senior Project Manager with a passion for excellence in energy projects?

We are currently inviting Expression of Interest applications from Senior Project Managers to support Energy projects located in Brisbane and Melbourne. In these pivotal positions, you will lead cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving collaboration, fostering innovation, and achieving project success from initiation to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning:

• Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define deliverables and success criteria.

• Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement effective mitigation strategies.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, providing clear direction and fostering a positive team environment.

• Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring alignment with project goals.

• Conduct regular team meetings to monitor progress and address issues promptly.

Resource Management:

• Allocate resources efficiently to meet project requirements.

• Monitor resource utilization and make necessary adjustments to ensure timelines are met.

Budget Management:

• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial goals are achieved.

• Track expenditures, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.

Communication:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communication with stakeholders and clients.

• Provide regular updates to leadership, highlighting achievements and addressing challenges.

• Foster strong communication channels within the project team.

Quality Assurance:

• Establish and maintain quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

• Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure deliverables meet established criteria.

Change Management:

• Proactively identify and manage changes in project scope, schedule, or costs.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess impact and implement necessary adjustments.

Continuous Improvement:

• Evaluate project performance and identify opportunities for process improvements.

• Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in project management.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.

• Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects within either of the following – green hydrogen / ammonia / decarbonization or LNG projects.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.

• PRINCE2 certification (desirable)
