About the role
We are delighted to announce that we are inviting applications for Senior Site Supervisors to join our tight-knit operations team in one of our very new sites in Central QLD not far from Emerald! This will be a Drive-in Drive-Dido (DIDO) position, even time roster and camp facilities will be provided for the duration of the roster.

Accountable for the operational success of their sites, our Senior Site Supervisors are charged with leading and motivating onsite teams of talented Blasting Professionals and Operators, to ensure safe and efficient delivery of services on each of these client sites
No two days are the same in the lives of our Senior Site Supervisors, therefore adaptability, a cool head under pressure, an ability to prioritise tasks, and providing superb levels of customer service are key to their success.

What you will be doing
- Live and breathe Orica's safety values at all times;
- Lead and motivate a highly skilled team of Shotfirers, MMU Operators, Fitters, Yard Keepers;
- Coordinate logistics of raw materials, equipment, and blast crew to sites within Collinsville;
- Ensure operational process meets Orica standards and customer's expectations
What you will bring
- First and foremost, demonstrating and setting the example of our key company value: 'Safety is our Priority, Always';
- Shotfiring duties including Magazine Management, Managing the loading, tying and firing of blasts, following drill and blast designs;
- Providing leadership and direction to the blast crew;
- Assisting with the training and mentoring of new team members;
- Working in tight unison with all blast crew teammates to provide an excellence in service to our valued customers;
- At all times activing with integrity and respect.
