Position Overview:
As a Sales Representative, you will be an essential part of our sales team, responsible for providing exceptional service to Pneumatic Solutions' valued customers and assist in expanding our footprint. Your primary focus will be to identify prospective customers and grow our client base by selecting the right pneumatic parts to meet their unique requirements and ensuring they receive top-notch solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Identifying and connecting with new customers.
- Building effective relationships with new customers and providing solutions unique to their business needs.
- Prepare and process quotes, sales orders, and invoices promptly and accurately.
- Providing exceptional customer service by promptly addressing enquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborating with the sales team to understand customer requirements and providing support in a timely and effective manner.
- Utilising your in-depth knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems to assist customers with product selection, troubleshooting, and technical enquiries.
- Keeping abreast of industry trends, product developments, and technical advancements to provide accurate and up-to-date information to customers.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualities and qualifications:
- A technical/engineering background.
- A solid understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems would be advantageous.
- Strong skills in building and nurturing customer relationships with a focus on effectively building new connections.
- Comfortable with cold calling and approaching prospective customers.
- Previous experience in a Sales Representative role, preferably in a manufacturing or related industry.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales-related tools.
- A valid driver's licence may be required for potential travel to customer sites.
- You will be required to undergo a National Police Check for this role.
