About the role:
Galvin Concrete & Sheetmetal are seeking a Sheet Metal Fabrication Apprentice to join their supportive team! They are looking for reliable and motivated individual, who are willing to learn, and have passion and enthusiasm for their work.
This role will suit a Junior or school leaver who is looking to learn all aspects of the trade and moulded into an expert tradesperson!
Applicants with a relevant pre-apprenticeship, TA's as well as brand new apprentices including school leavers are encouraged to apply! It is more important that you have a passion for the industry and are motivated to complete your apprenticeship.
Duties: (not limited to)
- Helping and learning from supportive tradespeople
- All aspects of sheet metal fabrication
- Mostly Mig welding
- Tig, Stainless steel and aluminium welding
- Cleaning up & getting parts
In addition, you will learn all facets of Light Fabrication aligned with your Trade Qualification
About you:
- Brand new hands-on person
- School leavers and Juniors encouraged to apply
- Driver's license preferred or ability to get to and from Wangara for a 6am start
- Basic tool knowledge
- Uses initiative
- Hands-on person
- Genuine interest in the industry and completing your apprenticeship
