Founded in 2002 Zenith began manufacturing and fabricating truck motor bodies, trays and trailers before becoming an active member of the defense industry in Australia. Zenith is focused on delivering premium, valuable and high-quality products and services to our customers throughout Australia and abroad.
Duties will Include:
Reading and following technical drawings
Sheet metal work, cutting and folding parts and products
Assembly of products using adhesives, rivets and welding
Assembly and dis-assembly of parts and products
Paint preparation
General workshop organization and maintenance
Complete paperwork and records accurately and in a timely manner
Opportunity to learn new skills and career pathways such as welding, fabricating, waterjet machining and CAD drawing
Support the workshop team with manual labour tasks
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in metal work preferred but how ever not essential to apply for this role
Competent with the use of a various range of hand & power tools, machinery and welding equipment.
Reliable, motivated and enthusiastic with high attention to detail and passionate about their work
Able to work unsupervised and in a team environment
Ability to work under pressure and unsupervised after training.
Workshop housekeeping tasks, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
Good communication skills
Have a positive attitude
Comply with safety policies of the company
Must have own transport and punctual
Bonus if you currently hold a Forklift or EWP license
