Fabricator - Motorcycle

Purpose Built Moto is seeking a young and driven fabricator. As one of Australia's leading custom motorcycle builders, our team prides itself on creativity and quality. 

World renowned for our scratch built motorcycles and custom work, the successful applicant will have a wide range of tasks, with opportunity for training in the following areas. 

• Tube frame fabrication and chassis modification
• Sheet metal shaping and coachbuilding
• Manual Machining
• Stainless Steel exhaust fabrication
• Metal finishing
• Motorcycle Assembly + light mechanical 

We're seeking a fabricator skilled in the following areas: 

• Proven metal fabrication experience
• Experience and knowledge of motorcycles
• TIG experience - stainless steel, aluminium + ChrMo/Mild steel
• Tube fabrication + Manual bending
• Manual Machining
• Quality work output
• Self starter with good initiative and ability to work unsupervised
• Sheet metal experience preferred but not essential

As part of the Purpose Built Moto team a day in your life in the shop would involve creative work on a huge variety of motorcycles. From vintage Harley- Davidsons, classic Japanese, right through to modern machines and the latest in electric motorcycles. We like to keep things interesting around here, so a passion for motorcycles is a must.
