Products include automatic sliding doors, swing folding doors, revolving doors, security doors, airtight and and one-way door systems.
The Position A permanent full-time position currently exists for an experienced trade qualified Fabricator or Fitter within their manufacturing team located in the Wetherill Park area. This role will see you contribute to the manufacture and assembly of a range of automatic entrance systems within a safe and collaborative working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Cutting, bending and drilling steel and aluminium to specifications
Reading and working from plans and written instructions
Manufacture and assemble products and parts as directed by the Production Supervisor.
Operate and maintain machinery and production equipment including metal band saws, drills, grinders, impact drivers
Monitor the assembly process, identifying and removing any faulty products.
Adhere to health, safety, and environmental procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Collaborate with the team to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Promote positive and professional factory operation.
Comply with company procedures
Qualifications and Experience:
Trade Qualification in Metal / Mechanical related industry. (Essential)
Prior 2-3 years of experience in a similar role. (Preferred)
Strong understanding of WHS requirements and safe machinery and powertool usage.
Proven experience working collaboratively in a team environment.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
Effective communication skills at all levels.
Willingness to learn and adapt to processes and procedures.
Ability to read and interpret cut sheets and written instructions.
Efficient problem-solving skills with a positive attitude.
Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
Fit and healthy with ability to undertake manual handling.
