As a result of our ongoing success, we are seeking applications for the below listed positions:
- Mechanical Fitter - Orange NSW
- Welder / Metal Fabricator - Kalannie WA and Rutherford NSW
- Industrial Sewer - Rutherford NSW and Mackay QLD
WELDER - FABRICATOR:
Our ideal candidate will have 3+ years' experience in a similar position including:
- Strong welding and/or fabricating experience (light industrial; sheetmetal); workshop/factory based
- Cutting, pressing, bevelling, grinding, filing and associated skills
- Knowledgeable with MIG and stainless steel
- Worked with plates, pipes and other similar parts and materials
- Able to efficiently lay-out, position, align and secure/tac parts prior to assembly & production
- Proficient at interpreting and practically applying designs, drawings and specifications
MECHANICAL FITTER / HD MECHANIC:
Our ideal candidate will hold a Trade Qualification - Fitter (Mechanical) OR a Cert III Mobile Plant Technology, and have the following skills:
- Possess a current - Working at Heights license
- Efficient at fitting Exhaust Components, Thermal Blankets, Sound Attenuation Kits, and insulation
- Efficient at Thermal blanket measure-ups and 3D Scanning
- Ability to travel to mine sites or remote regions for fitting works
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to execute quality work
- Previous exposure to heavy or industrial equipment
- Ability to measure and draw exhaust systems and components
- Ability to work safely with general hand tools and equipment
- Ability to identify issues and make decisions for the best benefit of the company when working alone or in remote areas
- Be capable of working within a team orientated environment, and be customer focused and maintain high level of professionalism.
INDUSTRIAL SEWER:
Candidates must have at least 2 years' experience in a similar role and be able to complete the following tasks:
- Sew heat blankets together using industrial sewing machines according to Mammoth Equipment's specifications and quality standards.
- Accurately measure and cut fabric pieces for assembly, ensuring precise dimensions.
- Perform quality checks to verify that heat blankets meet established criteria for durability, strength, and performance.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet manufacturing deadlines and prioritize workload to maximize efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and inventory control of sewing materials and equipment.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or fabric defects to the supervisor.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Remuneration packages will range between $70,000 and $80,000 dependent on skills & experience.
