Centacare NENW are looking for a motivated individual to join our Men's Behaviour Change team as a Facilitator. In this role, you will work with men on an individual and group basis, to foster changing behaviour to ensure the safety of women and children.
We are looking for someone who believes that accountability for behaviour is fundamental to effecting change, and who will place the safety of women and children at the forefront of their practice.

Remuneration
This position operates under the Social, Community, Home Care & Disability Award 2010 on a level 4 ($41.52/hr - $44.68/hr)

About The Role
Working as part of our team some key responsibilities include but is not limited to:
Assist in the delivery of the Men’s Behavioural Change Programs.
Plan the sessions with your co-facilitators within an integrated multidisciplinary framework.
Conduct and document initial and subsequent risk assessments for the program participants.
Initiate contact with program participants prior to the commencement of the program ensuring the accountability of men who continue to use violence.
Proactively communicate or identify any observed risks or issues arising in the group including, safety or critical incidents to the Program Manager.
Identify, respond and report to safety risks for women, (ex) partners, relevant family members and children following established protocols, as directed.

Essential Criteria
A commitment to and willingness to learn, develop and undertake further training or study in the area of Mens Behaviour Change and Domestic and Family Violence.
The ability to relate to and develop relationships with community members of all backgrounds.
Demonstrated organisational and computer skills.
Experience working in the domestic and Family Violence sector is preferred, but not essential.
