We have an exciting opportunity become available for an experienced Facilities and Project Manager to join the team at our Head Office in Alexandria, NSW. This role is 5 days on-site in Alexandria with occasional store visits. 

In this role, you will be reporting to the General Manager, and will be responsible for managing the end-to-end cycle and turn-key delivery of new store growth for Max Brenner Australia, nationally! 

Your main accountabilities as a Facilities and Project Manager will include:

Facilities Management

• Hands on running of the day-to-day operations in all aspects of facility management, preventative maintenance program, service record and asset tracking across all cafes 
• Ensure stores are presented in such a way fitting of the brand, with a strong focus on condition of flooring, furniture and other items that experience wear and tear
• Respond to internal café enquires and facilitate services promptly, ensuring at all times that stores trade during their peak periods 
• Facilitate the process of competitive quoting and work order requests
• Work with contractors to ensure work is completed to the highest level
• Maintain accurate records of facility-related information, including maintenance schedules, equipment inventory, and service contracts
• Routinely assess contractor and supplier network to ensure that (using balance scorecard approach) they are the best fit for Max Brenner
• Develop long term plans and strategies for café improvements and upgrades to efficiency, sustainability and productivity
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and codes of practice

Project Management

• Seek approval and manage the delivery of capital works, including leasing and delivering projects on time and to budget (inclusive of Development Applications, CDC, Council and other authorities)
• Provide end to end management of the project’s creation and life cycle and ensure compliance throughout all stages of the project
• Plan and execute the store network growth strategy, and where necessary rationalisation
• Present analysis and recommendations to the Leadership Team and Board
• Engage and build effective relationships with key stakeholders such as vendors, builders, Leadership Team and corporate departments
• Assist in the negotiation and securing competitive leases for new and existing sites 

About You: 

• 3+ years of demonstrated experience as a QSR/retail (new store/refit) facilities/maintenance/development manager
• Proven experience working alongside a high performing team to work together to deliver strong business outcomes and meet established KPI’s
• Strong understanding of the retail property market
• Demonstrated results in managing site or project delivery
• Strong financial acumen
• Ability to capture and influence stakeholders both internal and external
• Strong customer service orientation experience
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset
• High level of organisational and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and achieve outcomes with minimal direct supervision
• Positive attitude, self-motivated and enthusiastic
