Reporting to the Property Manager your main role will be day to day administration of the Group’s properties and other miscellaneous plant and equipment (“assets”).Nature of position: Permanent, Full TimeLocation: Melbourne, VICReporting Line: Property ManagerKey Responsibilities:
- Work with key stakeholders to manage day to day operation and performance of the Group’s Property facilities, ensuring they adequately support operational activities
- Day to day maintenance and presentation of the Company’s properties and facilities, ensuring all tenancies are fully operational, clean and in good working order
- Manage contractors and service providers maintaining contract expiries, warranties, insurances and operation manuals for all properties. Drive supplier performance (capability, delivery, quality, price, payment terms) through contract and relationship management, and spend / performance metrics
- Develop and maintain facilities schedules and programmed maintenance plans for the Group’s properties, including management of expenditures and budgets
- Coordination and timely response to maintenance and service requests, as well as provision of timely reporting and afterhours emergency contact for escalations as required
- General operations and service delivery duties, including coordination and timely response of support requests received through the Assets and Facilities inbox, and facilities management system as well as provision of timely reporting and afterhours emergency contact for escalations as required
- Oversee Workplace Health and Safety governance and compliance, and ensure compliance with corporate, industry and statutory standards and procedures
- Liaise with Landlord representatives on tenancy issues and contractor performance inclusive of cleaners, fire services, air conditioning, etc, prioritizing Workplace Health & Safety, optimal utilisation and commercial outcomes
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in property / facilities related functions
- Tertiary or trade qualification in a relevant discipline (Preferred)
- Experience and understanding in property and facilities management functions
- Change agent that can earn and create buy in, deliver creative solutions, and proven track record of delivery issue free integration strategy on time and budget.
