Facilities Coordinator
An opportunity exists for the right person within our team as a Facilities Coordinator.
About the Role
You will report to the Operations Manager and work collaboratively with other members of the team to ensure smooth day to day operations. This is a hands on role that see you involved with many faucets of the business. This position is offered on a permanent, full-time basis.
Job Description
- Ensure all building facilities adhere to proper safety standards and cleaning procedures
- Maintain equipment and building provisions to meet health and safety requirements
- Organize and plan building installments and refurbishments
- Supervise facilities staff and communicate with external contractors and vendors
- Handle insurance contracts
- Keep building and all facilities up to code and accurately follow maintenance protocol
Duties & Tasks
- Run routine building maintenance inspections
- Monitor interior and exterior areas of building for cleanliness and general conservation
- Prepare and implement project budgets and timeframes
- Supervise all health and safety policies and procedures
- Delegate cleaning and maintenance responsibilities to team members
- Inspecting general maintenance
Sklills & Experience
Diploma level in a related field
Excellent time management and multitasking skills
Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles
Great leadership and problem-solving skills
Forklift licence
Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar role
