Facilities Coordinator – South Australia & East Coast

The opportunity
We have a great learning opportunity for a Facilities Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis based at our Adelaide offices. This is a junior role, suited to someone with Facilities administrative experience or Facilities support experience looking to take their next step on their career path as Facilities Officer.
Whilst reporting directly to the Director, Property and Facilities in WA, you will also be supported by the Senior Facilities Officer. In this role you will learn how to provide and deliver property solutions across your own portfolio of clinics and offices across SA and eastern states. These may include ad hoc and preventative maintenance, and security requirements. You will also be responsible for the delivery of minor capital works and restorative works projects as required. There will be a requirement from time to time to travel and visit sites within your portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure all building works are prioritised and scheduled in accordance with agreed timeframes, service level agreements regulations and Australian Standards.
- Ensuring that all works are delivered within the estimate provided and within budget.
- Liaise with staff and contractors on various facilities management issues.
- Attend sites as required to co-ordinate and monitor work to ensure effective contract management and client satisfaction is being met.
- Ensure all service requirements are met within the agreed service level agreements.
- Recommend any saving or sustainability solution which will assist delivery of the Property and Procurement strategy and plan.
- Undertake the coordination and all administrative aspects for selling Silverchain property.
- Oversee the coordination and administrative requirements for sub-leasing Silverchain property to third parties.
- Provide soft key security access to Silverchain staff.
- Provide assistance to the Team Leader, Facilities and Senior Facilities Officer in other matters relating to facilities management as required.
About you
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated knowledge in a similar role. In addition to this, you will be able to demonstrate the following experience, skills and attributes:
- Demonstrated knowledge of Facilities.
- Solid administrative and time management skills within a Facilities/Property Management environment
- Experience supporting within Facilities.
- Experience supporting the delivering minor capital works and restorative works projects.
- Knowledge of leasing and selling property.
- Knowledge of issues and trends affecting property and asset maintenance, including processing, planning, and monitoring of budgets.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills to liaise and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders in relation to various facilities management issues.
- Well developed problem solving skills with the ability to research and analyse information and recommend solutions.
- Highly developed organisational skills to prioritise workload and adhere to time frames.
- Demonstrated knowledge of personal computer applications and related software.
Under the Aged Care act 1997, successful candidates will be required to provide a satisfactory National Police Clearance prior to commencement.
