As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, they are seeking a dynamic Fleet administrator / coordinator to lead the fleet management services and contribute to the strategic and operational goals.Position Overview: As the Fleet Administrator/Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in managing and implementing our organizational fleet management strategy. Reporting to the Corporate Services Manager, you will oversee the management of a fully leased fleet, while ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality in fleet operations.
Key Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Managing the outsourced fleet provider contract to optimize fleet utilization.
- Overseeing daily fleet operations, including administration of the pool booking system, fuel card management, reporting, and processing traffic infringements and insurance claims.
- Controlling operating costs to enhance fleet cost-effectiveness.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Establishing and maintaining a catalogue of commercial fleet vehicle products and services.
- Designing, implementing, and managing contracts, systems, processes, policies, and procedures related to fleet management.
- Handling internal and external fleet-related inquiries and issue escalations.
- Coordinating the implementation of fleet safety initiatives to reduce insurance premiums.
- Proven experience in fleet management or related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to optimize fleet utilization and control costs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with stakeholders effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement fleet management strategies and initiatives.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices in fleet management.
