Facilities ICT Engineering Support

Overview
Our large Government client is seeking an experienced Facilities ICT Engineering Support (level 5) based in Canberra.
 
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Uses appropriate management tools to evaluate, plan, record and manage the types infrastructure, including but not limited to HVAC, cabling requirements, associated power needs, space and cooling requirements, usage and actions etc. to meet targets/requirements
• Develops and maintain the standards, processes and documentation for facilities management
• Ensures adherence to all relevant policies and processes
• Provides technical expertise to enable the correct application of operational procedures
• Contributes to the planning and implementation of maintenance and installation of work including building and configuration of infrastructure components
• Identifies operational problems and contributes to their resolution, checking that they are managed in accordance with agreed standards and processes

 
Desirable

• Strong understanding of facility architecture with a focus on mechanical or electrical engineering and security concepts

 
Location and Contract Term
The role is based in Canberra ACT, with a contract term of 12 months.  
 
Security Requirements
To be eligible, you must be an Australian Citizen and hold current NV1 (negative vetting 1) clearance.
