Hastings Deering is on the hunt for a Facilities Maintenance Assistant / Coordinator to join our award-winning team in Rockhampton. This is a Permanent, Monday to Friday role.
You will:
- Maintain and build good communications with key stakeholders within the Central Queensland Rockhampton, Emerald and Gladstone branches .
- Undertake regular inspections / audits of business centre and record any defects through the Maintenance Service Centre software tool.
- Support in the initiation and delivery of new initiatives to ensure our Facilities Assets return on investment is delivered.
- Monitor scheduled maintenance on assets within our business centres to ensure our regulatory compliance requirements in keeping our employees, customers and community safe
- Supervise, coordinate the engagement of contractors, in obtaining quotes, promptly arrange repairs of all essential services as directed by the Facilities Supervisor with the highest priority on safety and quality
- Supervise / Coordinate contractors and staff to perform maintenance to minimise unscheduled breakdowns and ensure the most efficient operation of plant and equipment.
- Supervise / Coordinate contractors and staff in ensuring they perfom the requires scope of works to a high
- Manage and maintain Hastings Deering's Computer Maintenance Management systems associated with Facilities functions.
- Provide feedback and alternate solution to ensure we meet our KPI's associated within the Facilities function.
