Job summary
This role will work actively on the shop floor and report directly to the Projects and Operations Manager. Although will work closely with the HSEQ Manager as well.
Standard operations hours are
6:30 am to 3 pm Monday to Friday
Location - Northgate QLD 4013

Duties and tasks include but are not limited to:
- Keep the Brisbane Production site’s various areas in excellent condition.
- Work with the Production Supervisors and Team Leaders to plan and coordinate preventative maintenance schedules for key equipment and plant.
- Engage and manage third party contractors for production support and maintenance
- Ensure the risks associated with maintenance and third-party contractor work are eliminated or reduced so far as practicable by use of the Companies Safety Management System.
- Act as day-to-day contract manager for key production support service contractors
About you:
To be successful in this role you will possess the following:
- Minimum 5 years a production environment requiring coordination of maintenance and support activities.
- Experience engaging and managing contracted works on site.
- Strong communication skills
- Good technical knowledge and the ability to rapidly build understanding in new areas
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft suite.
- Analytical and process-oriented thinking
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple activities
- Champion change
- Strong understanding of WHS contractor management requirements
